Custom Order Process

How Our Custom Projects Work

At Easton Engravings, every custom piece is made specifically for you. To ensure a smooth process and the highest quality craftsmanship, we follow a structured project workflow.

Step 1: Request a Quote

Tell us about your project by providing:

  • Description of your idea
  • Photos or inspiration (if available)
  • Personalization details
  • Desired size and materials
  • Quantity needed
  • Event date or deadline

Our team will review your request and may contact you for additional information.

Step 2: Scope Review

We carefully evaluate your project to determine:

  • Design requirements
  • Materials needed
  • Production time
  • Customization options
  • Overall project scope

This allows us to provide an accurate estimate rather than a generic price.

Step 3: Receive Your Detailed Quote

Once the scope has been reviewed, you will receive a detailed quote outlining:

  • Description of services
  • Materials
  • Customizations
  • Pricing
  • Estimated turnaround time
  • Any applicable shipping or additional fees

No work begins until the quote has been approved by the customer.

Step 4: Quote Approval & Deposit

After you approve your quote, an invoice will be generated.

A 30% non-refundable down payment is required before any design work or production begins.

Your project is officially added to our production schedule only after the deposit has been received.

The deposit covers:

  • Design time
  • Project planning
  • Material preparation
  • Scheduling and production reservation

Step 5: Design & Revisions

If your project requires a proof or mockup, it will be provided for review.

  • Up to two (2) reasonable revisions are included.
  • Additional revisions or major design changes may incur additional fees and extend production time.

Please review all proofs carefully, including spelling, dates, names, and layout before giving final approval.

Step 6: Production

Once the design is approved and the deposit has been paid, production begins.

At this stage:

  • Materials are ordered or prepared.
  • Equipment time is scheduled.
  • Your custom item is handcrafted specifically for you.

Because of this, changes after production begins may not be possible and may require additional charges.

Step 7: Final Payment & Delivery

When your project is complete, the remaining balance must be paid before pickup or shipment.

Once final payment is received, your order will be:

  • Shipped to your address, or
  • Scheduled for local pickup
